Okay, heres a strange one. I noticed today day that i was hit for a meta ad payment on paypal...i thought this was strange and when i checked in my lunch hour i had numerous payments from paypal around £7-£9 each. These were for business ads on my own facebook! I have my personal site and my "business" page where i make things for fun in my workshop. I occasionally would pay for an ad thru meta business for instagram etc. Someone created ANOTHER business page within my facebook account, granting themselves access to my ad account and took out multiple ads advertising cheap footwear etc with unlimited funds....this was ALL in the last 3 days and ran up a bill around £170. Ive deleted my business page, changed passwords, email addresses that they had entered, everything. I queried these payments but paypal will not refund because they were "authorised payments" And the s"buyer" is protected...there was no sale! My paypal wasnt hacked, but my meta account WAS. these were not authorised at all! as it stands, i have no idea what to do. Im sure im probably the only person this seems to have happened to!
