PayPal closed the case in favor of the seller Knowing that the seller did not respond to any message when I opened the case Knowing that I provided all proof that I did not receive the item In the end, PayPal closed the case in favor of the seller

I too filed a claim that was closes in favor of the scammer.. no refund and no product/service ever received.

When a buyer loses they say paypal no longer protects the buyer.

When a seller loses they say paypal no longer protects the seller.

Don't forget paypal 'customers' are both buyers and sellers.

 

However if you opened a dispute for non receipt of item? and escalated to a claim? did the seller provide a tracking number? If so you may be able to appeal and I can give further advice on what to do.
