PayPal credit fraud

I have just had a credit warning on my personal credit file stating that I am a month late on a PayPal credit card payment that was opened in July 2023, just logged into my PayPal account and it states a 0 balance, but on my credit report it states I have two PayPal accounts one with a 0 balance and another with £417 which is a month late, the problem I have is that I can’t see how or whom I should be reporting this to, if I try to do this in the my account I then have to choose a transaction which I don’t have as it must be from another account that someone has managed to open and tag to an old address I used to live at 7 years ago. Can anyone help? Thanks

See if customer services can help you trace the other account?

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.
