Palestinian accounts being restricted

Hi, this is not related to my account, but I just wanted to make a complaint: PayPal seems not to allow many Palestinian clients, especially clients in Gaza, certain features that are essential to the service. I've had Palestinian friends tell me their accounts were suspended or restricted. In an extreme case, one friend is unable to send or receive any funds, which defeats the purpose of PayPal. I understand this isn't an issue a single representative, or even several representatives, has the power to resolve, and I know if I called someone they would just ask that the client resolve the problem with an agent. I'm only sending this message because I have a feeling this would not work, or at least would not solve the larger problem of Palestinian accounts being unfairly restricted, and PayPal doesn't seem to have an email address to complain to. They're making an effort to let Ukrainian clients access critical funds, and I don't see why they're actively making it more difficult for Palestinian clients to do the same. This isn't anything new, nor is it a question I expect to find a solution to. I just felt I had to say it somewhere.

Thank you for posting on this topic. What Paypal is doing is totally discriminatory. Much can be found on the topic online. I'm also connected via social media with people in Gaza and the West Bank, and many are reporting this problem. Meanwhile, Paypal has no problem with allowing its platform to be used by illegal West Bank settlers and to expand those settlements, which are illegal according to international treaties and law. This goes back to even well before 10/7/23. Here's a sample, but there's much more to find if you search: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2023/may/24/paypal-palestine-ban-us-congress-

I’m thinking of deleting my account on PayPal after their restriction on Russian transactions. Meanwhile, Israel that’ll start WW3, can use PayPal without any issue. I’m disgusted.

It happened to me too and another person who sells books as the author in various sites, for no reason at all only for being in palestine, it asked for ID and address confirmation it worked for a while but now it says it's permanently limited. Cannot transfer my money to my bank account.
