PP checkout - transaction not listed in own PP account - how to report conflict

5 weeks ago I bought something with PP checkout, but I was not logged in to my pp account; therefore the transaction is not shown on my PP account; now I don't know how to report a conflict; in the email with payment information there is a link "open paypal account", which doesn't work because i already have a paypal account; when I want to report the conflict, I am redirected to the transactions of my account, and there the transaction in question is unfortunately not listed; somehow i am going around in circles

If you bought something online with a debit or credit card and didn't log into your Paypal account then of course it won't show on that Paypal account because you bought as a guest buyer.

You ''may'' not have Paypal buyer protection cover as a guest buyer but you can contact customer services and they may be able to assist you by reaching out to the seller for you OR opening a dispute if you are covered by buyer protection.
So If you need help for a guest buyer transaction then you can;

1. Phone Paypal customer services and see if they will help you.
OR
2. Contact your card issuer for a chargeback.
