Hello all
I made a purchase today with Paypal and for the first time ever I was not required to log in, it simply 'transacted':
I logged into a vendors page using "Contrinue with Google" option. Having selected my purchase I then chose to proceed with "Paypal Checkout".
At this point I was expecting to use 2FA as per usual but I was not asked for anything, it simply proceeded to the order confirmation page.
Having checked on Paypal, it states the following against the transaction:
"This is a temporary authorisation to make sure your funding source will cover the payment. Your funding source will be charged when ******** completes your order"
I've received emails confirming the order from the vendor and Paypal - I do not like this at all, and want 2FA to be required at all times.
Can someone please tell me how this might have happened and how I can make certain that 2FA is required at all times.
thanks
