Where do I stand? Purchased wheels and tires on line as advertised to suit my work van. Received and fitted to the van. 6 months later I got defected by the Police for the tires not complying to the vehicles compliance plate. I tried to make a claim through the PayPal dispute centre but was told that the transaction was more than 180 days old? I contacted the seller and his response was for me to purchase different tires elsewhere? Any ideas? Thanks.

Buyer protection is only up to 180 days.
However if you funded your paypal payment via a credit card then maybe contact your card issuer for a chargeback but it may be too late for them as well.
