My number used by someone else for paypal

Help me, I think someone used my number to open a PayPal account cos I definitely didn’t. Now I’m getting a message telling me “ PayPal: Your $200.00 USD Pay in 4 automatic payment will charge on June 9, 2023.” I’ve tried calling PayPal but I keep getting the bot, I tried chats the same bot and PayPal doesn’t have an email. What do I do ?

Forward unusual texts or SMS messages

Don't click any links in a text message that appears to be from PayPal, but doesn’t seem right. Forward a copy to PayPal. Here's how:

1. Tap and hold the message
2. Tap More and then the Forward arrow
3. Enter phishing@paypal.com as the recipient
4. Tap Send arrow
5. Block the sender (on iOS / on Android)
6. Delete the message
