My account cannot be accessed. When I try to claim "We're having trouble making sure it's you". It's worth remembering that I've never been able to add a phone, this account is very old and I think it's a bug that means I can't add anything. The add screen flashes and everything disappears, just a blank screen. I need to access my account immediately! There are very old purchases with warranties that I need to prove in order to access the warranties.

You need to have a mobile phone on your paypal account to allow log in to your paypal account.

This is so they can send a text number to your phone to verify its you before allowing log in.

If you haven't you would need to contact customer services to help you regain access so you can then add a mobile phone for the future.

As I said, I don't think it's possible to add a phone because the account is too old. What happens is that when you add the phone after logging in, the screen goes blank. Then I try to change the password and it says they're having trouble confirming that it's me accessing the account.
