Instagram Scam with estimate through PayPal

Hello! I think I may have done something stupid without thinking. Its some users trying to tell they will send lots of money for some small work or company-small talks. It all seemed legit when the mail was from service mail through paypal, and the mail was in my language like I usually get from PayPal. And it was an estimate. I did accept it. And now I’m freaking out since they started to say I had to pay fee through BitCoins, but didnt. And blocking this person all over so he cant reach me. But why I’m freaking out is because I said yes to the estimate and its only showing up in «notafications» in the PayPal app that this person sent me an estimate on 3.000$. Changed password and sat my paypal more secure and sent the mail ive got from this person to spoof mail through PayPal Is it anything else I can do so I dont lose money or its being turned around so I have to pay something? Or isnt the estimate real or something if i dont pay the fee?

I have just experienced this same thing tonight.. I accepted an estimate.. Did you ever get money taken from you? I'm so scared I will 😞

No, I changed the password just in case and blocked the guys after they wanted me to make bitcoins to send them. The estimate is gone, but idk if that is because I asked Paypal to check it out, or if they deleted it. Estimate is not a legial contract 100%. So as long as you dont see anything in activity where money goes in and out from paypal. Then you should be safe. Thats what paypal told me, and no money was taken from me. I really hope this was good enough answer and you feel a but safer now! 🙂
