I was extorted out of $600 USD bc someone had explicit images of me (they sent them to a family member as proof and as a threat and warning, and yes I confirmed it with them) They demanded more and more before I was able to get my entire contacts list to block the person. I lost $600 that’s a large amount of money that I need! What steps do I need to take to get refunded for this? I panicked and paid before thinking but still I’m out $600 USD, What can I do about being extorted!!??? Is there any way I can get my graduation money back??? I’m sure if PayPal checks the account that the money was sent to that account will have many past reports to it so at least can that account be taken down so no one else gets scammed? Like what am I supposed to do now.
