How do we get more information on an account my husband never made 7 years ago

We just learned today that though my husband has never used PayPal or made an account that evidently he has had an account for the last 7 years. Trying to find out as much information as possible about this said account as we are also having problems in other accounts and would like to try to figure out if it is possibly the same people doing this
