Ordered figure with a dog times 2 £39.98. Parcel delivered to back door on 25/9/23 we were on holiday for 12 days. On our return no sign of parcel, email saying delivered as stated. raised issue with seller who just went round in circles, so raised dispute with paypal. Who took the word of it being delivered to back door step as being acceptable. Evri who delivered it are frequent here, and there website is updated where to leave a parcel safely. So Im being penalised and out of pocket £39.98. I in the past supervised the delivery of Telephone directories and doorstep deliveries were not allowed as it advertised persons not at home and possible break in. The person hired was penalised and wages reduced. Paypal is rewarding doorstep deliveries

If you filed non receipt of item and the seller had a tracking number to prove delivery of the item to you then of course PayPal would find for the seller as they had done everything asked of them.
If it was left unsafely you would need to take it up with the courier. Lots of companies leave outside but try and conceal it for you. However I am on holiday and always make sure a neighbour checks for any parcels for me as you normally get a phone notification on delivery.

Not acceptable at all, leaving parcels on door step, leaves house vulnerable to break-ins. I am totally disgusted with the final outcome. My trust in PayPal is NON EXISTENT. When raising a complaint is also needing looked at, it was a lot easier in the past. At present you keep going round in circles which is total rubbish.

You left a parcel on a door step for 12 days as you were on holiday and didn't arrange anyone to pick it up for you and you are surprised it wasn't there when you got home?
As I said lots of companies leave parcels on door steps but normally ones that are hidden from the road but you also have the option with most couriers to select a 'safe place' for the item to be left, if you didn't do that then next time consider it.
Not sure what paypal has to do with it they don't courier or deliver parcels, they are a payment processor.
