I am reaching out to see if anyone has any insight as to what my recourse is. I opened the account and made two small purchases, which were fine. Without my realizing the payment acct that it was linked to is one that had been hacked in to and emptied, so my payment was returned. I immediately called and saw that my husband made the payment manually and was told the account is fine and the banking issue was fine. Next month, the same thing, I called explaining the situation and asked for help changing the acct. And I made a double payment. Told they cant update the bank info, go to PayPal and d it there. When I did it errored out. Because there were two returned payments they closed the account even though I contacted them for both a correction and to make the payments. Because they could not correct the bank, or PayPal correct it, this now reflects badly on me. They just declined to consider their failings and refused to reopen the account due to the account having fraudulent activity. If this is their customer service, aside from it hurting my credit, I am happy it is closed.
