Am I Working for a Scammer?

Hello everyone, I just want to ask if I am working for a scammer. This guy from Pakistan said that he wants to rent my Paypal account saying people in Pakistan can't access Paypal and will pay me $15 for every $850 he sends to his freelancer. He didn't ask for my Paypal account details, he just wanted to confirm that I am using the account for more than 2 years. We were talking using google meet and he was looking at it thru screen share as I link his visa card to my Paypal. Everything went well, his visa card was successfully linked into my Paypal account, paid his freelancer $818 and paid me $10. What I'm concerned about is that when he paid me, his name is an english name not a Pakistan name, and I knew that he is Pakistani because his accent was like an Indian accent (I think Indian and Pakistani accent is the same, correct me if I'm wrong) also his area number is from Pakistan. So these are my questions 1) Is it really true that they can't access Paypal from there country? 2) Is it fine if I link someone's card to my Paypal? 3) Do you think he is using someone's identity to scam people? 4) What do you think?

Hi @StupidScammers,
Thank you for joining and posting in the PayPal Community Forum. Thank you for coming to the Community for information regarding this activity. I'm sorry to hear that you have been confronted with what is very likely a fraudulent enterprise.
Some very important information:
- PayPal is not available in Pakistan.
- Adding another person's card to your account is not recommended, even with permission, and there is a high likelihood that the card(s) that are offered to you to link are stolen.
- It is not permitted to aid someone in circumventing the PayPal User Agreement in any way. Doing so constitutes a violation of the same agreement and would likely result in account limitation, possibly permanently. It may, in some cases, potentially even be illegal, depending on the activities performed.
I would very strongly recommend against participation in anything like this, ever. You have no protection, the activity is at best a violation of the guidelines, you would very possibly lose your account access, and you may even be breaking the law. I would suggest that you contact Customer Service immediately to ask if the transaction can be reversed and to explain the situation fully. Your contact options can be found by clicking Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website.
I sincerely hope that this can be rectified quickly!
Olivia
