Hello,
I bought a Star Wars ship figure (Razor Crest of the Mandalorian) on Aliexpress but they sent me the wrong miniature reference (AT-M6 of the last Jedi).
I would like to get my money back but to do so I have to pay to send the wrong model back.
The problem is that the shipping to China (13,77€ with Fedex) is more expensive than the miniature(12,40€).
Paypal seems to find the situation normal?
There is no way to explain the situation to Paypal via the interface that allows me to manage the problem.
I am only allowed to do one thing with the Paypal interface, that is to accept the unfair proposal of Aliexpress and to scan the proof of return to Aliexpress of the wrong miniature reference they sent me...
I find it unfair to be forced to pay for a mistake I did not make!
Also, because of the amount of shipping cost that would have to be paid, I will never send the wrong model to Aliexpress if I have to pay the shippement
I would have liked to solve the problem directly with Aliexpress but when I bought the miniature, I used a quick way to buy on the Aliexpress website without creating an account (Big Mistake !!!!). In conclusion, I am not allowed to talk about my problem in the account I created after receiving the wrong reference.
That's why I used Paypal to get my money back...But it doesn't work!
My mistakes at this stage were to buy something from Aliexpress and to think that Paypal would defend my rights as a buyer...
What can I do?
Thank you for your help,
Sincerely,

Well it is normal if you read the section on paypal buyer protection in their user agreement !
In the event of a dispute you choose your seller and not Paypal so you need to bear in mind possible return trackable costs before you go ahead and buy from that seller / country.
Paypal state this >>
IMPORTANT: You may be required to return the item to the seller or other party we specify as part of the settlement of your claim. PayPal Buyer Protection does not entitle you to reimbursement for the return shipping costs that you may incur.
Although they will compensate you for some of the cost if you have activated this at some point before you made that transaction.

You also have the option to do a chargeback via your card issuer instead of a Paypal dispute if you funded your Paypal payment via a credit card.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
