I need help, this is my 1st time using paypal, ive always been scared & this is the exact reason why. I bought a pair of shoes from Matthew Lott using paypal & it took my payment but i have NOT received my order. HE HASN'T EVEN RESPONDED!  Tried filing a dispute but paypal declined it, saying there was no unauthorized sales.  I need some help guys, i just wanted my 1st exp to be smooth, but looks like this will be my 1st & LAST time using paypal.

Sounds as if you opened a dispute for an unauthorised transaction?

Why would you do that if you made the transaction and were not hacked?

A dispute for an unauthorised transaction is telling paypal that your account was hacked and used without your consent to make that transaction.
Paypal would check IP addresses and devices and close the dispute if it was you that made the transaction.
So of course paypal closed the dispute, why didn't you open a dispute for non receipt of item OR did you negate your buyer protection by paying using the friends/family option?

Well mainly because i DONT KNOW what im doing. Ive never used this before. Also, the only option it gave me when filing was that, unauthorized activity. It was the only box i could check. Can somebody please Please help me?? All i wanted was a new pair of shoes, my feet hurt!! He took my money & wont respond

Can't help if you don't answer the question I asked, did you send using the friends/family option or not?
