Undue account restrictions.

Hi Everyone

 

Guys this is getting ridiculous, I have a business account and recently Paypal requested me to provide more information in order to avoid an account restriction. I've followed the protocols and steps to the tee in terms of providing information. I have provided such information timeously and diligently when I first got the message from Paypal.

 

On the dashboard they mention: "We'll get back to you within 7 business days".

 

It is now more than 45 business days since I've provided the information. I've logged supports on 23 Apri[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]and 18 May 2022 to alert them to the issue.  Each time I was assured that the matter is being escalated and I'll receive an email soon. Still no answer. My account has been restricted even though there is no default on my part. This is a business account. I cannot make any payments currently from Paypal and it's leading to loss and damages.    

 

I have complied with the requirements, and the delay is not due to any default on my end. Imagine for a moment your bank tomorrow requires some documents from you which you promptly provide, only to restrict your account after a few weeks because they are still busy resolving something on their end!

 

Imagine you have to pay your bills, buy food etc, but can't because they've restricted your account. That would be a draconian measure from a financial institution and I cannot imagine anyone doing business with such an institution!?  How is this possible?  Anyone else having this issue?  How can I resolve this madness?
