Seller never sent return label, was denied claim because I didn't mail item back.

I received a damaged package from a European seller that did not pack my order properly.

I filed a case with photos and responded to every low offer,

I wanted a full refund for the damaged items and was willing to send the item back.

Paypal documentation on their own website states sellers are responsible for return shipping on damaged items.

Seller offered a full refund upon return, but only if I paid for return shipping to Europe.

I wasn't able to "deny offer" without adding a tracking number.

Every phone customer service number was disconnected/would not connect on my phone.

I can't find any way to appeal or contact paypal.

I'm so sick of this.  As a seller doing 6 figures a year, I lose every single case, even when I prove the buyer is lying.

I file a case for the first time and I lose and can't give any info on the seller not sending a return label.

Why am I on the hook for shipping? How did the seller even choose that?
Everytime I get a return paypal forces I send the label or I lose all the money on the transaction.

In the event of a dispute you choose your seller and not Paypal so you need to bear in mind possible return trackable costs before you go ahead and buy from that seller / country.

Paypal state this >>
IMPORTANT: You may be required to return the item to the seller or other party we specify as part of the settlement of your claim. PayPal Buyer Protection does not entitle you to reimbursement for the return shipping costs that you may incur.

Although they will compensate you for some of the cost if you have activated this at some point before you made that transaction.

You also have the option to do a chargeback via your card issuer instead of a Paypal dispute if you funded your Paypal payment via a credit card.
