Seller deactivated lifetime license key and won claim?

I was denied a claim today for a subscription service for a bot which I had paid a lifetime fee of 300$. The seller of this subscription service deactivated my subscription and I couldn't even use the product I paid for. So I filed a claim for item not as described and provide images of my receipt for the purchased product as well as a full recorded gif of me opening the site of the subscription showing my paid for lifetime subscription key and then the key failing to be activated and the program not running on my computer since you can't send video for some reason. SOME HOW all of this information is ignored and I lose my case??? All because they said the seller delivered the item I paid for. Yeah I got the download link. But if you download something and it doesn't even work how the hell is that an item as described.

If your case seems like a warranty issue, PayPal doesn’t cover it. Try an appeal of decision via customer service or a chargeback if you paid with credit card.

Significantly Not as Described Claims

An item may be considered Significantly Not as Described if:

  • The item is materially different from the seller’s description of it.
  • You received a completely different item.
  • The condition of the item was misrepresented. For example, the item was described as “new” but the item was used.
  • The item was advertised as authentic but is not authentic (i.e. counterfeit).
  • The item is missing major parts or features and those facts were not disclosed in the description of the item when you bought it.
  • You purchased a certain number of items but didn’t receive them all.
  • The item was damaged during shipment.
  • The item is unusable in its received state and was not disclosed as such.

An item may not be considered Significantly Not as Described if:

  • The defect in the item was correctly described by the seller in its description of the item.
  • The item was properly described but you didn’t want it after you received it.
  • The item was properly described but did not meet your expectations.
  • The item has minor scratches and was described as “used."

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
