Remove limits from my account; no instructions given, link in the email doesn't work

Hello,

I asked pretty much everything in the title.

► I received an email couple months back saying, that my account will be limited. Unless I complete the steps which makes this show up:

► Yesterday, I received another such email. Of course, the link didn't work either.

► There should also be an option to follow instructions after logging in. There is no such thing. The option below comes closest, but only link my credit card to the account (which I don't need).

So, how do I remove the limits put on my account? Where do I upload whatever documents it is they need?

Have you checked in the resolution centre in your paypal account as any information to upload to resolve limitation issues is normally in there?

If not then reach out to customer services?

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

SURE ITS NOT THIS SPOOF?

If its a spoof then NEVER USE ANY LINK OR ANY PHONE NUMBER.

Firstly if the email/text addressed you as ''Dear Member'' / ''Customer'' / ''Client'' OR your ''email address'' then that confirms its a spoof as paypal would address you by your full name eg Dear John Smith.

Secondly if there was a link OR attachment in that email/text to ''cancel'' any transaction or ''confirm'' any details then again it would be a spoof.

Also if they ask you to call the number in the email then it would be fake paypal agents trying to scam you for money to 'fix' something.

If there was a problem with your account Paypal would not ask you to click on an unsafe link in an email / download an attachment OR phone them on a number in an email, they would direct you to log in normally and go to the resolution or the message centre for more information.

Hello @kernowlass ,

thank you for your concern.

unfortunately, this is not a fraud. My account is truly limited, the email comes from valid adress [removed] and they adress me with my whole name.

Furthermore, the link isn't unsafe. It just leads nowhere at all. There isn't any website at that adress.

Thanks,

Karel

Oh, I see. There is nothing in the resolution center, but I found in the Message Center, that I can contact the support from there. Thanks.
