We had two unauthorised payments going on our paypal account for two successive day. One for an amount of $76 and the second one $117.35. Paypal agreed to refund the first amount -$76. When the second unauthorised payment was made they said they are in line with our purchase history. Is there some stupid people working there. If the first was unauthorised that means that we have never make any purchase and therefore is no purchase history as this is only transaction on our paypal account. I would urge people to be careful as a paypal is not safe at all. We have already report the case the bank advising us to cancel the debit card. we have also remove any link with paypal as PAYPAL IS NOT SAFE FOR BUSINESS
My experience with PayPal disputes is that PayPal NOT care and does NOT even read whatever documentation you send them about product ripoffs. Once they have your $ in hand (or whatever % they get of your purchases), that's the end of their interest. Period....
Similar experience. My daughter had four unauthorised transactions on her paypal account yesterday which was liked to her bank account. They cleared her bank account, payess were named as Silas Miranda and Esther Kamau. We do NOT know these people, the payment went out in dollars not pounds. When we finally found a way to report the issue to paypal we received fairly quickly that these transactions were not deemed to be unauthorised. We tried again, same result. Its clear that you should NOT link a bank account to your paypal account, in fact its clear that paypal is in no way secure. They are obviously not interested. Has anyone else had a similar experience or any knowledge of these payees. We will pursue this but will be closing our paypal accounts. I've transferred all funds from my account meantime.
I would urge people to immediately remove any debit/credit card and bank account linked to paypal account.
Paypal has proved to be not SAFE TO USE. Many people are facing the same issues.
This is what we are doing, removing them from our business and website. Seems that Paypal is a platform for FRAUD AND ILLEGAL TRANSACTIONS, The hackers are much more clever than people working at paypal. Paypal don`t care about you anymore.
