My account was limited so i was waiting 180 days to get my money which i would of been able to take out Sept 15. I login to my account seeing all my money is gone and i get this message $8,583.00 USD;PayPal Posting Date:Aug 5, 2021;Payment to:Paypal;PayPal's damages caused by Acceptable Use Policy violation;. I have no idea what i did. Their wasn't even a email about this I got an email July 23 and then Aug 23 just talking about changes to policy. Now I just think it's very weird that they didn't say about damages in my email. Did I lose all my money or did paypal just take it and then when i can withdraw it when available. I did read that they can confiscate 2500 per violation so i would of had to make 4 violations for them to take all that money.

If you have been told your Paypal account has been permanently limited then Paypal tends to hold any funds for 180 days. This is the same time frame that buyers have to open Paypal disputes.
If no disputes are opened in 180 days then normally you are allowed to withdraw the funds. That is as long as you are over 18, the account is in your legal name and registered in the country where you reside.
Sometimes they confiscate funds under this policy.

Paypal also may request further documentation from you before you can withdraw those funds.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
