My mum's PayPal account has been hacked. The first email said that it was being logged on from a trusted device but that's **bleep** because we don't have a desktop with chrome. 2FA didn't even go into place! HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN? One by one the hacker changed her address and phone number and then the hacker applied for PayPal credit. And you know what the worst part is? She can't even contact support because it requires you to either login or of we call them, they ask for a phone number and when she gives it, the bot says that it isn't associated with an account because the hacker changed her number. So what the hell are we supposed to do? Why didn't her phone get a 2FA notification? I'll be shutting down my account after this whole ordeal. Thanks a lot PayPal.

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
