My dispute was closed because the "tracking info invalid", but it's not?

I opened up a dispute from a seller on AliExpress because the $70 worth of clothing I ordered didn't fit and the seller did not want to offer me a full refund. I purchased a $30 shipping label and returned the clothing back in April. I provided a legit tracking number and everything through USPS, but when I just checked the status of my dispute it said it was closed because the "tracking info I provided was invalid"; however, it IS valid. The items are still in transit but clearly on the way back to the seller, so why was my case closed? I've been trying to get in contact with an actual person at PayPal but they make it so hard to do so. I just want my money back. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Hi @imsodone123,
Welcome to the community and thank you for your post.
I am sorry to hear your dispute has been denied. I know this must be frustrating.
In order to grant a Significantly Not As Described dispute, we must receive a valid tracking number showing the item has been delivered back to the sellers address. If the tracking number shows the item has been in transit for a long period of time, this would be why the dispute was denied. Without confirming it was delivered back to the seller, we cannot issue a refund. I would suggest you contact the shipping company to enquire about the long transit times.
