My account has been hacked and I’ve had to make a new one

I tried to log in to my PayPal account and my password/email was wrong so I tried to change my password and it said my email was wrong. I’ve had to make a new account and I’ve tried using the PayPal messaging been completely useless. If I’ve been hacked how on earth can I fix it?

We are so sorry to hear that your account was compromised and the email address was changed. Typically, you can report unauthorized activity, but since you're unable to log into your account, it's best to reach customer support by clicking 'Contact' at the bottom of any PayPal page. Support is also available if you send a DM to @AskPayPal on Twitter or a PM to facebook.com/PayPal.
