Good morning. Apologies if this has been asked already.
I’ve just made a purchase and payment via PayPal and immediately I’ve received a security alarm from PayPal warning of my account being used in London. I’m nowhere near London. I have had similar warnings previously, all immediately following a purchase. There has been no suspicious activity on my account.
My question is, if someone would be kind enough to answer, how much reliance can be put on such messages? It’s great that the transactions are monitored and I wouldn’t want it any other way but if they’re all taken seriously, I could be changing my password every other week. The only connection I can make with London is the time zone.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated and if I’ve overlooked something obvious, I’m happy to be educated.
Many thanks.
