Is this fraud? Money sent from Business account so pending payment for sale

I’m selling something on Facebook market place and had a guy send the money but it comes from a business account. So I got an email to my junk saying he had sent it but no funds showing in my account. Then I said I can’t see anything so he said it didn’t go through because mine isn’t a business account so he had to send more for mine to be upgraded. Now wants me to send the difference back.

Welcome! Thanks for visiting the PayPal Community Forum. I'm sorry to hear there's been a bit of confusion with a recent sale. In short, you're definitely catching all the right red flags on this one. First, you do not need a Business account to receive a payment for Goods and Services. Second, if you don't see a transaction in your PayPal account, and your email address has already been confirmed, you have not been paid. Also, you should not need to send money back for any kind of overpayment. Finally, the fact the email showed up in your junk folder is a good sign this may not be on the level. All in all, I wouldn't recommend continuing the transaction with this user.
