I cannot change my address to my Nigerian address

I live in Nigeria. I want to change my address to my Nigerian address but the system does not display the country so that I can pick Nigeria. My account is currently on limited access. I initially used my sister in law's address when I was USA. I have all documents to back up that I live in Nigeria. Please help

hello @NJchi , your paypal account is open in the united states.
you have the obligation to open a paypal account from your country of residence. ( cgu paypal )
it is not possible to modify the country, nor to put on it information of another country. Nigerian in your case.

when you leave the residence of a country, you must close the account, then open a new account, corresponding to the new country.

contact paypal customer service to see this with them.  => Help & Contact
But this is a major violation of PayPal's Terms of Use.

you must contact paypal customer service to see with them the result of your restriction.
a restricted account cannot be closed, the restriction must be resolved. and it is forbidden to open another account.

on paypal:

- at the bottom of the Help And Contact page

then at the bottom of the page that opens "contact us" (on the right) and finally, still at the bottom right: "call us"

(you will have an authentication code and a phone number)

if you are having trouble reaching paypal, you can do so on twitter and facebook.

paypal is present on both. all you have to do is "send a private message"
