I can't recieve any payment but the resolution centre doesn't say my account is limited.

I had an email saying that I had an incoming sum of money and  "Before we can deposit the money into your account, we need a bit more information about your account or recent transactions. To provide that, just log in to your account, and go to your account summary. Select the More menu, then choose the link that takes you to our Resolution Centre. Please provide the missing information by 8 March 2022, or the money will be returned to the sender." This would suggest that my account is limited but the resolution centre has no account limitations button. I don't know what I'm supposed to do.

To resolve this:

  1. Go to Resolution Centre.
  2. Click Go to Account Limitations.
  3. Next to each step required to remove the limitation, click Resolve and follow the steps to provide that information.

Note: If you received an email stating that your account is limited, but don't see any steps in the Resolution Centre, you may have received a fake email. Forward it to the email address that you’ll see in the “This information might help box” if you follow the steps below and PayPal will investigate it for you. After you send PayPal the email, delete it from your inbox. If you clicked on any links or downloaded any attachments within the suspicious email or website, log in to your account and view your transactions. It’s also a good idea to change your password.

Finally, reach out to customer service to ask them take a look at your account:

  1. https://www.paypal.com/smarthelp/contact-us
  2. Click Disputes and account limitations.
  3. Click Account limitations.
  4. Click How to resolve an account limitation.
  5. Click Call Us after “This information might help” box or use the green Message Us box that may appear after a few moments.

Or try PayPal at Facebook or Twitter.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
