My account was closed back in April, I have since had emails regarding a chargeback made to someone I don’t know and advising I owe PayPal £322. I can not long into my account as it was closed, I replied to the email and automated response advises to call, I call and am advised to log into my account and refer to the email. How do I speak to someone about this?! I can not pay back this, I have no bank account as I was involved in a scam and it is under investigation by Nationwide until June 30th. I would like to dispute the chargeback as I have been caught up in a big mess, I don’t know the person or about the payments. I have tried making a new account with the same previous details - it doesn’t work. I have called and spoke to countless rude and completely useless people. If I can not dispute due to the fact it’s to late as I have not been able to get hold of paypal and am then forced to pay back money I don’t owe then how do I do this considering my bank is closed until July and the only funds I could access would be my benefits In cash. I NEED HELP, I am a young single mother with a newborn baby and no family and this is having a massive impact on my life.
