Hello, I am 14, and a limit was put on my Paypal account because I tried to access it using a VPN (I didn’t know at the time that is against TOS). I tried closing the account but because of the limit I cannot.

It is also against TOS to sign up for a PayPal account while under 18 yrs old.

A limited account means the account is not in good standing so cannot be closed. Limitation must be resolved to close account. Since you can’t resolve limitation, or if the account is permanently limited, consider the account closed. If the account is asking for photo ID, and you have no ID, write a note that you’re a minor and do not have ID, pdf it and upload to the request. PayPal will then permanently limit the account rendering it unusable.

When you are 18, talk to customer service about opening a new account.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
