Clearance fee

I received an email that I have received money but I have to send a $200 clearance to sender. Is that possible?

Its a SCAM.

Sellers do not pay an upfront fee to be able to receive paypal payments.

Any fee is auto deducted by paypal when your buyer pays and at the same instant that the remainder is credited to your paypal balance.

Nothing in your balance = you have NOT been paid.

He said he has sent the money via a business account and it need clearance, I sent $50 for fees and now he wants an extra $200

Oh no I didn’t send any money again and I also got a call from PayPal in Ireland to tell me that the email was fake
