Someone wants to send me money but I have to pay clearance fee? makes that sense?

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm glad you reached out regarding this concern. If someone wants to send you money, but is asking you to pay them a fee, it's normally not a legitimate situation. You may be charged a fee by PayPal, but that would be after you have received the transaction. Here's a Help Center article with some useful information on How to spot fake, phishing, or fraudulent sites and emails.
