I responded to an advertisement that appeared in my Facebook thread for fresh Alaskan King Crabs shipped right to your door at phenomentally low prices.
The link went to the website [Removed] Only option for payment was Paypal. It appears I got scammed out of $45. The phone numbers on the order confirmation are not working. There is no response to the email I sent to the company. It appears they are in China. Has anybody else been bitten by this scam??

I too just got scammed for $60 from them. Paypal denied my claim even though we have all of these claims right here on Paypal. My document has that I ordered it through Costco. After alot of digging, I found that Costco doesn't take paypal, that this website store www.viniadana.com is shut down and Scam detector gives it a very poor rating. It looks so legit and when I lived in Wisconsin, Costco sold great King Crab Legs, so I assumed that's who I was buying them through. After talking to our Postmaster, he told us that the tracking number we were given didn't go to our name or home address but Paypal denied my claim saying that the seller gave them a copy of the shipping label with tracking number. I am disgusted that Paypal doesn't see all of these complaints and do something about it.

Try REOPENING the dispute based on fraudulent website/tracking info/etc., I have seen many posts here that, after jumping through hoops, paypal has accepted the dispute and judged in favor of the consumer

I too fell victim to this scam to the tune of $71.98 and filed a dispute with my card company. FaceBook should be accountable for allowing these Scammers to advertise.

Why does paypal make it so hard to recover the funds, they should be shutting down their account.

I fell for this SCAM Also and Paypal is rejecting my dispute 2 times. I'm trying again once someone on the Paypal side is available. Just waiting now.
I can sense the importance of this matter to you. Please allow me to do my best to assist you today.
On checking, I could see that the funds were successfully paid to the seller. As we are a payment platform we don't have an option to issue a refund once the funds are paid. Only seller holds such options to refund directly.
Not to worry, we have got you covered under buyer protection, however as the payment was made on dec 27th, it cannot be disputed as there isn't any case reason for a potential fraud.
Please allow the seller up to 7 days time which will be Jan 3rd 2022, post that if they don't deliver the item or the received item is not as described then you can dispute either as "item not received" or "not as described".
