Hello everyone,
I received a legitimate email from PayPal that says an email was added to my account that I did not recognize.
Thankfully, I have my PayPal app on my phone login with my fingerprint, and indeed a new unknown email was added and confirmed, and my original email was removed.
I added my original email back, confirmed it, removed the hacker's email, and reset my password.
No bank account or cards were linked at the time of the incident, so no money has been stolen, although the hacker probably knows my address and full name now.
My question is, am I safe now that I removed the hacker's email and reset the password, or are there more steps I need to take?
Your help is appreciated.
