I only used my paypal as a bank account and deposited cash and need the remaining balance

Hi @stormsxshadow20,

Thank you for your first post in the Community Forum and welcome!

I'm sorry to hear about the permanent limitation. Typically, when the 180 day period elapses, the available options are communicated at that time and those are the only options for your circumstances. If you would like to talk to a representative to ask if there is anything else possible, please click Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website for contact options.

I hope this helps!

Olivia

I have the same problem.  The contact number I have tried at least 30 times now.  Each time been on hold between 1-2 hours.  I am so frusturated.

I was told i would be contacted in 72 hrs, no response. but i can now add a bank account. and have a withdrawl pending a 24 hour review.

I only ever deposited cash into this account and didnt sell anything on ebay or recieve any money. So this should honestly be illegal. i waited 180 days just to wait some more. And i even got the Email from paypal saying my funds were eligible but were not. We'll see if the withdrawl to my bank works..

I am very surprised to see this morning that the funds were deposited into my bank account, which has no limitations at all.

Very surprised at this given the number of people with permanently limited accounts who couldn't get anything out.

however this has left a sour taste in my mouth having to wait 180 days and then some to use my own money is flat out wrong, no matter what it is the company decides.

I will not be using paypal for anything ever again.
