Hi,
I got a problem concerning paypal integration in a web shopping app. I am working with the PayPal API and the .net SDK. In most cases everything works fine but in one special case I have problems finishing the payment.
The requirement to reproduce it is to activate TouchId in the PayPal App on your mobile device visiting my webshop!
Steps in the shop:
1) Checkoutpage is called, paypal payment choosen and the buy button pressed
2) Calling the API let me receive my paypal Url to redirect to
3) Now I would expect the browser to redirect me to paypal.com/....... but instead the paypal app opens and I should authenticate with my fingerprint. If I do so I will be redirected to the shop and the browser freezes.
4) When I press the back button of my mobile device and press the buy button again I am redirected to paypal.com/.... and I can finish the payment.
Why can't the app handle the entire payment process? Or would I have to do any settings or set special parameters for this case? Would it be possible to force paypal to not open the app?
I would be thankful for any help because I have no idea how to handle this case.
Best regards
Moe
