IPN Notifications not working - Status in the shop not working - History is failed

Platform : PayPal Sandbox (Sandbox Environment)

Merchant ID : 4JBVRBTXN82LN

Issue : Despite successfully completing trial orders with respective successful payments (hey are present in the list of payments received) I don't receive IPN notifications, and IPN History is blank.

I think "Notifications" configuration is complete and correct, other times everything worked correctly... but it just feels like the IPN service is off/down!

The error occurs since 29.05. 10 a.m.

Hello,

Thanks for sharing the merchant id for your sandbox account.

Check the IPN history section of the sandbox account which is receiving the payments, I can see multiple IPN's showing within the account and they all have a delivery status of "failure".

Checking server logs for the delivery attempt, it appears the connection is being reset on the receiving end when we attempt to connect to the specified host. Check the web-server logs on the either the receiving host or firewall to determine why the connection is being reset and resolve the issue.

The failures are only in the sandbox. There are no failures in live mode. Why? Shouldn't the failures also be in live mode?

Otherwise I'll call my server provider.

Hello,

As I mentioned, you'll need to check the access logs / error logs for the web-server which is processing the incoming requests to try and determine the reason.

I don't know your specific setup, so I can't comment on why it may be working for live, but not for sandbox.

I've checked one of my own testing accounts and IPN delivery in sandbox is working as expected, so it's not a sandbox issue.
