I have created Sandbox test account and i can not activate the card status.

The main problem is I can not make any payments. so i debug further I found that whenever I click the on "activate payment card"  it is showing me the card status as an "error".

Can anyone help me? I urgently need to work on this.

Hello,

What type of card are you trying to use ?

You should choose to have a card added when creating the sandbox account or use the card generator provided within PayPal Developer to generate a card number and add it to your sandbox account manually. You should not need to have to activate a standard visa / mastercard.

I have not added any card. I have created a personal type account. After that, I opened the popup on click of "profile" option.

In that under the funding tab bank account and card are already added.

below that, there is an option:

 Card Status:

Activate payment card

I have not found any other way to add a card to sandbox account.

I tried t add card details from card generator at the time of making payment but it shows me error like "Bank cannot accept this card details. we can not proceed to transaction please use another card details."

Could you please provide correct steps to making payments through sandbox account? or please provide a guide.

It is very confusing for any user and especially for beginners. As you upgrade the system old guides are not helping us.

Please guide me and provide proper steps.
