Activity Download Summary for transactions older than 3 years not available. Who can help?

Activity Summary Download for transactions or even individual transactions is limited to three years by Paypal for some unfathonable reason. It used to be open for all years. The tax department can go back 7 years. I'm in a situation where I need transactions from 2019 but the back years for activities and transactions only go back 3 years. Does this old information have to be obtained by a court order to Paypal as financial documents must be available for Revenu Canada for 7 years? Has anyone been able to get a coherent answer from Paypal as it appears no one has been successful so far?

 I understand your exhaustion, mine is there too...

If you are in America here is what we do.

To get to a financial summaries option , you have to go to that little tab white and oblong -  to the right of  All Reports ...currently White,  click it to switch to classic view and it will turn blue ... this will bring up a  new page with different options.

You are limited to go back only three years to date to get any Summary  report on this page. but this is the page that has more options to detail your report to monthly or to customize it to annual .

This gives you a totaled report of each category not a detailed transaction history report.

You can return to the other page by clicking the oblong icon that is now blue and white again. This brings up the Financial Summary page and here you can generate a detailed Financial transaction report which will give you each transaction for the time period you enter . 

As she stated earlier in the thread, you are limited to entering a time period of 3 years... I do one year at a time.
