Privacy for a purchase

I bought my wife a gift and now the merchant's name is on the Activity Listing.  I just want to change the name of the merchant on the list, or delete it temporarily.  

How?

Sadly you can't, buy a few cheap items to push it down the list so it does not show in summery is your best bet?
