Bank statement vendor ID missing

My bank statement used to show "Paypal *Vendor ID". Now every payment just says "Paypal Payment". Is this something that Paypal changed or was it the bank? Do I have any selectable options for this? Thanks.

Welcome to our Community Forums! This may depend on a few different factors. First, if you pay via bank (eCheck or Instant Transfer), your bank statement should normally state "PAYPALINST XFER" or a variation of that. If you pay via debit / credit card, you should normally see "PayPal *Vendor Name". However, that may also reflect differently due to the merchant's settings.
