How do I prevent pay pal from listing what my purchases were on my bank account?

That's a great question! 

A PayPal Send Money transaction usually reflects as a PayPal transaction with no specific details. If you're using PayPal to checkout with a merchant, the merchant is the one that determines how their business name is noted for the transaction. Regrettably, there isn't a way to hide a business name. A good way to prevent this is to add money to your PayPal balance. You would then use your PayPal balance when sending money.
