I recently purchased a laptop for $810.00 On ebay using a debit card I attached to my paypal account. Something went wrong with the laptop so the seller refunded my money. I see on my paypal transaction records that my refund says completed. When I look at my checking account transaction records it shows no sign of money going into the account. I want to know why its not showing that my refund is pending through my bank. Its quite a bit of money so I am anxiously awaiting my refund.

First of all, welcome to the Community Forum!

In this situation, refund will be showing as completed when it's successfully sent onto your card.

Every bank has different processing times which may wary from 1 - 14 days and the bank won't inform PayPal when the funds physically were added to your card.

If you have any doubts you can call Customer Services to double check if the refund has been successfully completed - just for peace of mind.

Hope the funds will show on your card very soon.
