i had a item refunded, and it has been a week now and the amount is still not in my paypal account how long does it take? i thought it was only 4 to 5 days?

Hi there beckymillar,

Here’s how to view the status of your refund:

1. Go to www.paypal.co.ukand log in to your account.
2. Click ‘History’ near the top of the page.
3. Click ‘Refunds,’ then click ‘Details’ next to your refund

If the payment was made using a card, it can take 5-7 working days for the refund to appear or depending on your bank account this sometimes can take up to 30 days to show on your card statement.

Check the status of the refund to ensure it has been initiated. If not then I would advise that you open a dispute on this transaction.
