receive refund without the money

i was offered a refund but does not receive the money. paypal said the refund was completed and successful but where does my money go?

paypal also charged me to verify my card and promised to return it but not received it.

why is paypal taking money from people?

Once you have verified your card the £1 charge will be refunded to you.

If your original payment was funded by your card then  any refund will go back automatically to your card but takes about a week to go back to your bank account and a  bit longer if its a c.c.

i already verified my card and was charged for it but paypal didnt verify it after 24 hours.

and i was asked to verify my card again with the same procedure.
