Will they settle in my favour?

Hi, I was hoping for some experienced advice as I am newish to PayPal. I recently bought a job lot of eBay which was being sent together in quite a big heavy box. It got sent by the seller to the company eBay use for their international shipping. The seller did send it to them and they did send it to me, however it seems it got delivered to someone else. The tracking record shows another name. This is where it is a bit annoying. The delivery company says the sender has to make a claim. Both the ebay website and the company eBay use say go to PayPal to make a dispute. So I did that today. I clearly stated the above in the dispute that I believe it's not the seller who is liable but pbi, the global shipping company. I claimed under item not received as I didn't receive it. Has anyone experienced this situation before? Will they side in my favour as I didn't receive the item or will they basically tell me as the tracking shows delivered, even though not to me it has been delivered? Thanks for your help just a little concerned as it was a big purchase in my eyes, though probably a tiny one to PayPal. Thanks

Normally paypal check the tracking number and if it does not show as delivered to your address you should get a refund.

Just make sure you put that it was delivered to another address and the postcode is not yours before you escalate to a claim.
