Hi,
I'm a business and I'm expecting a partial refund for some unwanted products from my supplier. When they receive the returns and issue a refund basically I would like to know WHO pays the conversion fee (I paid them in US dollars), will it be me
(the buyer) or them (my supplier/wholesaler) ??
If it is me that has to pay for the conversion fee would it be okay to ask them to issue the refund in Great British Pounds (GBP) as
I live in the UK.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
N 🙂

Hi skinnycow,
Thanks for posting on the Community Forum about this.
I can confirm that when you send a payment and it's converted to a new currency (from GBP to USD in this case), there would not be a currency conversion charge performed for the amount when it is refunded to you. What you would receive back is the USD amount converted to the GBP equivalent using the exchange rate of the day.
I hope this explains the process, but please let us know if you have any other questions at all
Sophie
