Hi, I recently (three days ago) opened up a dispute in the Resolution Center. I am requesting a full refund for a wrong item delivered.
But so far the other company hasn't reponded to any of my messages. How long should I wait before escalating the dispute? I can't go on writing to myself, which what it feels like.
Thanks.

Why wait > go ahead and escalate and paypal can see your seller is non-communicative as they will see the messages.

Well, I'm scared a bit.
Because one time I escalated a claim and I lost, which was odd because I had been clearly ripped off by the seller.
Thanks for your advice. 🙂

I left another message today and have told them I will give them two days to respond. See what happens then.

UPDATE:
After five days, I heard absolutely nothing from the seller, so I decided to escalate the claim. Because otherwise, I would be spending the next two weeks writing messages to myself.
The thing is, Paypal has told me I must wait a further 10 days for the seller to respond. I'm not keen on that, especially when the seller couldn't be even bothered to defend themselves, or issue a refund, or even talk about the situation to me, in the Resolution Center.
In my view, the seller had their chance, but they blew it. And yet now I have to wait another 10 days before I will learn IF I will get my money refunded.

UPDATE:
Case resolved. Paypal has issued a full refund. Thanks.
And still no word or reply for the seller.

Hi, I opened a dispute 4 days ago because I never received the item that I ordered. The seller still hasn't responded to me.
I've never done this before so I'm not completely sure how it works.
Did PayPal automatically refund you after a period of time due to the seller's lack of response or did you have to escalate the dispute to a claim?

Escalate the dispute to a claim putting in a note before you escalate that the seller is non responsive.
Then do nothing, paypal give the seller 10 days to prove delivery of the item to you.
If they don't as long as you met the criteria of buyer protection you should get a refund.
However if the seller offers to refund if you close the dispute DO NOT DO IT.
Wait until you have a cleared refund before you do anything.
